
Grey Owl’s Cabin is located on the north-west Shore of Ajawaan Lake. The journey begins at the Kingsmere parking lot and is just over 20km one way. “Grey Owl” was born Archibald Belaney in 1888 in Hastings, England. He started working for the park in the 1930’s. In his 7 year association with the park Grey Owls job was to re-establish a beaver colony in the Park. He is considered to be one of the first active naturalists and has become closely associated with Prince Albert National Park.
